Dahlia, also known as Dali flower, geranium, Oriental chrysanthemum, dahlia, sweet potato flower, Compositae, dahlia, perennial herb, with huge rod-shaped root tubers. Stem erect, much branched, 1.5-2 meters high, stout. Native to Mexico, Mexicans regard it as a symbol of generosity and richness, so they respect it as the national flower
